ROUND BARN THEATRE BOX OFFICE MANAGER

STATUS – Full-time
CATEGORY – Salary – Non-exempt
REPORTS TO – Theatre Manager & Executive Director

JOB SUMMARY

The Box Office Manager will manage the daily operations of the box office and box office team as instructed.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily operations of running the box office.

  • Process phone call sales.

  • Assist patrons as they come to the door with sales, questions, inquiries.

  • Print web sales.

  • Provide information on all current & upcoming events.

  • Assist with floor management for events and post-show activities as needed.

  • Manage season tickets.

  • Make sure the Box Office staff has all current event information and is knowledgeable about all events and Barns at Nappanee property information.

  • Train all new box office hires.

  • Keep track of ticket stock and notify the Barns Executive Director for ordering.

  • Scheduling for all box office staff.

  • Attend weekly Barns at Nappanee Manager staff meetings.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Return Phone Calls and Emails to patrons

  • Clean & organize Box Office space.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Graduate

  • Experience in management and supervision.

  • Must have valid driver’s license.

  • Good public relations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other web-based tools as needed.

  • Ability to deal effectively and efficiently with co-workers, staff, and public.

  • Flexibility to work varied hours.
